Although Minecraft is compatible with almost all devices, some people prefer to play it on their PCs. There you can access both Java or Bedrock editions. However, you first have to get the games on your hard drive before you have a chance to play them. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work, here are some suggestions to fix it.

Sign out and check the date, time, and region

If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we first recommend rebooting your PC and signing out and then back into the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, whichever you are using to access the launcher. You can now install Minecraft Launcher through Game Pass. To sign out, click on your profile icon in the top right of the window and then Sign Out.

Also, make sure that your time zone is correct and your date are displayed correctly on your computer. If they are not, right-click the date and time in the lower right of your screen and choose Adjust date/time. Make sure you have Set time automatic and Set the time zone automatically turned on. Press Sync now to sync your clock under Synchronize. Before you exit the Settings, click Region on the left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure that the correct region is selected.

Troubleshoot Windows Store and update Windows

Open Settings, go to Update & Security, then click on Troubleshooting. Scroll to the bottom, and choose Windows Store Apps. Follow this process to reset your computer. Open Settings and select Update & Security if your Windows has not been updated in a while. Under Windows Update, click Check for update.

Reset the store

If this fails to resolve the issue, we recommend resetting it. Click on the Start button, and then enter wsreset. Click the Run command entry, and a black box will appear. Do not do anything until you see the black box disappear and the store reopens.

Next, open Settings. Click on Apps. In the search bar, find the Microsoft Store. Click on it, then select Advanced Options. Souldevteam Scroll down and choose to Reset. You will need to sign in again.
