Minecraft may not be the most action-packed experience, but all that walking is all the Omni virtual reality rig requires. Here we go again Above two Omni developers take Minecraft multiplayer for an adventure. They demonstrate the high-voltage running, walking and jumping that users can expect in VR.

The Omni Kickstarter has a further 20 days to go, and is currently at $970,000 of its $150,000 goal.

Minecraft now comes with a brand new launcher on PC, accessible to all users who do not have an Omni setup, as well as those who have one. The new launcher is required to play the most recent version, Minecraft 1.6, and any future updates. The new interface is able to support multiple usernames within an Mojang account (although the feature isn't enabled by Mojang), it does allow for multiple usernames.

The new system will automatically update without the need to manually update. Single-player content will also be accessible offline. Players must be offline in order for this to happen, or the launcher will continue to try to reach the Minecraft servers.
